Parents safely assuming these games to be safe since they are after all meant for children could be buying since they have been advertised to develop a child’s mind, unable to realize the actual detrimental effects.

The argument about people committing violent acts even if they do not have access to computer games does clearly stand. But what has to be realized that the increase in violence due to the influence of these games has to be curtailed amongst young children.
